Second Wind will handle all of your lesson and reservation needs for the Hawaiian Sailboarding Techniques School (HST), Aqua Sports Ltd for Kiteboarding lessons, and Action Sports Maui for surfing lessons.

Twenty years have passed since pro sailor Ralf Sifford (US 27) opened the doors at Second Wind Sail Surf & Kite. Back in 1985, with $500 in his pocket, Ralph rented a 400sf retail space and brought most of his merchandise in on consignment. His goal was to make windsurfing and surfing affordable for the hundreds of water enthusiasts who visit Maui annually. In those days, the shop closed at 1:30 pm and the whole staff hit the water.

We want to make sure that when you finally make it to windsurfer, surfer, and kiteboarders paradise, you don’t get stuck on a plateau. We can get you to the summit with your own personal coach!
